I have some surprising news for you!
Did you
know that prices, at least for Days Inn Lebanon, are generally within a dollar
or two? And that many third party sites have additional fees that don’t show up
until checkout that actually end up making the stay more expensive than direct booking?
Something
else you should take into consideration is the fact that once a reservation is
made through a third party site, any changes to your reservation need to be
made through the same company, which is not always quite so simple. That means
if you need a change to your reservation on a moment’s notice the hotel staff cannot
help you.
Third
party sites are great for comparing the pricing of multiple accommodations.
They are awesome at saving you an extra dollar or two [okay, maybe $5 on rare occasion].
They are perfect and convenient if you are absolutely sure nothing will change.
BUT,
when emergencies happen, and things do need to be adjusted, many people regret
booking through third parties, and that dollar or two just isn’t worth it. Check
